Director of Business Development

Location: Remote (US, preferably Boston or nearby Massachusetts)

Salary: $150,000–$195,000 + commission and benefits

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Lead client engagement and deal processes from proposal to close.
• Drive account expansion and increase wallet share within existing clients.
• Support market engagement and introduce new offerings.

Requirements

• Proven success in sales within life sciences (CRO, eClinical, clinical technology or related).
• Experience building and executing territory and account strategies.
• Track record of revenue growth and exceeding targets.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles, including proposal development and bid leadership.
• Ability to identify pipeline risks and implement mitigation strategies.
