Director, Media Strategy

The Director of Media Strategy at Choozle is responsible for client media strategy from pre-sales through campaign completion, serving as the strategic gatekeeper and primary technical advisor to the Revenue team. The role involves owning media plans, guiding the IMS team, and ensuring high-impact digital advertising campaigns across multiple channels.

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000

Responsibilities

  • Audit and scope early-stage plans in collaboration with SADs and AEs.
  • Establish and run a partner deal desk to review margin health and custom data integrations.
  • Govern inventory quality and eliminate metric-inflating traffic.
  • Curate premium supply partnerships, including PMP libraries and direct CTV/OTT supply.
  • Vet complex custom requests and define operational scope to prevent bottlenecks.
  • Maintain campaign data integrity and synthesize data into growth recommendations.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for premium services like CTV, Programmatic, Search, and Social.
  • Build multimedia training resources to improve team execution.
  • Identify growth opportunities and platform limitations for product feedback.
  • Lead and mentor the IMS team, including offshore resources.
  • Define workflows and best practices for campaign execution and optimization.
  • Train internal operators on audience-first strategies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital media planning and management.
  • Deep experience with Google Ads and Meta Business Suite.
  • Advanced familiarity with The Trade Desk or similar DSPs.
  • Certified in Google Ads, GA4, and Meta Blueprint or willing to renew certifications.
  • Understanding of attribution models, AI leverage, and consumer journey mapping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
