Developer Advocate

Qase is seeking a developer advocate or quality engineer with a passion for software quality and AI-generated code governance to help engineering teams verify AI-generated code quality and adopt AI-accelerated workflows.

Location: North America (preferably near a major tech hub or airport)

Responsibilities

• Engage with online communities, meetups, and conferences to promote Qase and support software quality in the age of AI.
• Develop and share insights on testing AI-generated code, verifying intent, and managing token use, creating content and tools.
• Coach sales and marketing teams on technical credibility and product messaging.
• Organize and participate in practitioner meetups, prospect dinners, conference presence, and community events.
• Gather community feedback and communicate needs to the product team.

Requirements

• Credibility in QA or software development, trusted by testing or developer audiences.
• Strong desire to evangelize, present, and participate actively in community events.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on business growth and scalable DevRel programs.
• Hands-on technical experience with testing, breaking builds, and using AI coding tools.
• Comfort with ambiguity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Additional Information

• This is a North America-based role with regular travel, ideally near a major tech hub or airport.
• Ramp-up depends on prior advocacy experience; those ready can start owning events sooner.
