Responsibilities
- Prepare copy for a broad range of medical communication projects including abstracts, scientific posters, manuscripts, slide decks, and medical affairs deliverables.
- Be proactive in ensuring delivery of work within budget and deadlines.
- Liaise with clients and external thought leaders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Interpret and incorporate review comments ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Share relevant information with editorial and client services teams.
- Maintain awareness of therapeutic areas, competitors, and new data.
- Assist client services with project scope and budget discussions.
- Record and monitor time against project budgets and submit timesheets.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, guidelines, and client SOPs.
Requirements
- A life sciences degree, ideally with a master's or PhD.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to learn new therapy areas and disease states.
- Proactive in sharing updates, ideas, and feedback.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
