This role involves outbound sales and outreach to supply chain and procurement leaders at manufacturing companies, with the goal of setting up qualified meetings for the founder. It requires research, personalized communication, and pipeline management.
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Research target accounts to understand their supply chain, recent news, pain points, and organizational structure.
- Identify the right buyer (VP Supply Chain, Head of Procurement, COO, Plant Director).
- Write hyper-personalized outbound messages that earn replies from unfamiliar contacts.
- Build and run multi-touch outreach sequences across email, LinkedIn, and warm intro paths.
- Mine existing networks for opportunities.
- Frame meetings as value exchanges, not sales pitches.
- Manage HubSpot pipeline, track outreach, and report on conversion metrics.
- Coordinate event follow-ups, podcast/webinar appearances, and content seeding to generate inbound interest.
- Work directly with the founder daily.
Requirements
- Experience in outbound sales at a B2B startup where the brand was not well known, and successfully secured meetings.
- Ability to research companies and craft compelling messages that capture attention of VPs.
- Comfort with manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial contexts (or quick learner).
- Thinking in angles rather than templates.
- Excellent English writing skills; German language skills are a plus.
- Persistent follow-up without being annoying.
- Experience with tools like Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, but prioritizes thinking over tools.
