Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Full Remote

The company is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build, operate, and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, scalability, and future readiness. The role involves managing core infrastructure components, designing network architecture, automating processes, and supporting migration projects. The position offers full remote work and part-time options.

Location: Remote (Germany)

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure stability, scalability, and future readiness.
• Manage core infrastructure components including compute, storage, content delivery, DNS, and network security.
• Design network architecture, scaling, and high availability, ensuring automation and reproducibility.
• Monitor operational costs, identify optimization opportunities, and maintain cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Participate in infrastructure setup, migrations, and cutover planning to ensure smooth technical transitions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in cloud or IT infrastructure.
• Technical degree or equivalent practical experience in IT.
• Deep knowledge of at least one public cloud (Google Cloud or AWS), preferably both.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, networking, DNS/CDN (e.g., Cloudflare, CloudFront).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with migrations or cross-account architectures is a plus.
• Strong automation mindset and ability to build stable, repeatable infrastructure.
• Proficiency in German at least C1 level.
