Newscape Studios, Inc is seeking freelance 2D Background artists to work on animation content for their YouTube channels, focusing on popular video games and original animations. Candidates should have strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, and be able to produce high-quality environments and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Keep an organized and efficient workflow
• Fully finalize environments and background props for production
• Meet daily quotas during the production week, approximately 25 environments per week

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Procreate
• Illustrator/Background artists must be able to adapt to a variety of styles
• Strong understanding of composition, perspective, color theory, light and form
• Able to work as part of a team
• Effective communication skills
• Great listening skills
• Good time management skills
• Comfortable meeting deadlines and daily quotas
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
