Bilingual Area Manager LA&C

The role of Area Manager- LA&C at Dairy Queen involves providing leadership, business insight, and operational support to franchisees to achieve company and operational objectives. The position requires building strong relationships with franchisees, analyzing performance data, diagnosing challenges, and guiding strategic and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business consultant, relationship owner, and first point of contact for assigned franchisees.
• Analyze franchisee and market performance using company systems, reports, and tools.
• Diagnose business and operational challenges, identify financial and operational levers, model business impact, and guide franchisees in developing and executing action plans.
• Lead recurring business routines with franchisees, including performance reviews, KPI discussions, and operational rhythms.
• Proactively identify emerging issues, performance gaps, and capability needs, coaching franchisees to implement solutions.
• Guide franchisees in executing operational standards, menu compliance, brand guardrails, and food safety processes.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve issues, support growth, and implement system initiatives.
• Support development and reinvestment efforts for franchisees, including remodels, renewals, and new openings.

Requirements

• B.A. or B.S. degree in Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in restaurant operations, franchising, multi-unit environments, business consulting, finance, FP&A, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing employees.
• Experience working within a franchise system, preferably within a QSR brand.
