AR Ops Lead

The role involves providing assistance, coaching, and training to staff in a healthcare billing environment, managing complex accounts, resolving insurance issues, and supporting team operations.

Location: Remote

Salary: $22.56–$33.85

Responsibilities

• Assist with training and development of new hires and staff
• Support team members during absences or backlogs
• Handle complex billing, follow-up, and collection activities
• Perform account resolution and documentation
• Identify and communicate issues with payors and systems
• Conduct high-level problem solving with a focus on compliance and revenue cycle
• Assist with special projects and process improvements

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in medical billing, collections, appeals, or contract interpretation
• High school diploma or equivalent, some college helpful
• Knowledge of medical record documentation, coding terminology, and billing forms
• Ability to work independently, multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to change
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to research and resolve complex claims
