3403 Systems Requirements Engineer Jr-IEJ

The role is for an Intermediate System Requirements Engineer specializing in Infotainment Subsystem, acting as a key liaison between design, development, and system architecture teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated into vehicle electronic components.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Write, update, and maintain technical requirements for the Infotainment subsystem and related areas throughout production phases.
• Conduct requirements elicitation through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Utilize IBM DOORS for requirements management and traceability.
• Perform system requirements analysis using established engineering methodologies.
• Collaborate in the design and development of infotainment hardware and software systems.
• Support system modeling and architecture activities.
• Act as the key link between Design & Release Engineers (DREs) and System Architects.
• Work cross-functionally with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure correct hardware–software integration.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve hardware and software system failures.
• Apply diagnostic tools to detect and address technical issues.
• Use IBM Engineering Workflow Management (RTC) and JIRA to manage workflows, tasks, and issue tracking.
• Contribute to the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for infotainment components.
• Conduct thorough testing to validate system functionality and reliability.
• Perform DFMEA to identify and mitigate potential design risks.
• Create and maintain detailed records of diagnosed issues, implemented solutions, and established requirements.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, including specifications and reports.

Requirements

• University Degree (Bachelor’s or Engineering) in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering.
• Basic level (0–1 years of experience) in Requirements Engineering, Requirements Management with IBM DOORS, Workflow Control with IBM Engineering Workflow Management (RTC), Issue Tracking with JIRA, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Diagnostics and Troubleshooting (HW/SW), Systems Engineering Methodologies, Vehicle Communication Protocols (CAN, LIN), Knowledge of Apple CarPlay / Android Auto.
