Virtual Anatomic Pathologist - France

Anatomic Pathologist responsible for examining pathology specimens and preparing reports remotely, providing diagnostic services, consultations, and supporting the growth of IDEXX through professional relationships and participation in meetings.

Location: Remote (France)

Responsibilities

• Meet caseload and turnaround expectations.
• Provide telephone consultations to clients.
• Consult with and assist other pathologists to promote collegiality.
• Interact with, advise and assist laboratory personnel in specimen processing techniques.
• Promote the growth of IDEXX by participating in meetings and maintaining professional relationships.
• Participate in quality control programs.
• Maintain proficiency and develop diagnostic skills through continuing education.
• Engage in other professional activities approved by management to enhance IDEXX's reputation.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
• Certified in pathology by ACVP, ECVP, or FRCPath.
• Familiar with current topics in clinical veterinary medicine.
• Able to type and use dictation equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently on routine tasks.
• Experience in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory (preferred).
• Experience in diagnostic fields, especially surgical pathology (preferred).
• Service-oriented attitude.
• Organizational and prioritization skills.
• Computer skills.
• Fluent in French and good English skills.
