Ui/Ux Designer (W/M/D)

A role for a (Senior) UX/UI Designer to lead the entire product development process for GovRadar, a SaaS solution automating public procurement to enable digital transformation in the public sector.

Location: Germany

Responsibilities

• Own UX for features from idea to final interface, including customer feedback processing.
• Collaborate closely with Product & Engineering teams, incorporating user perspective early.
• Translate complex requirements into clear user journeys, prototypes, and intuitive interfaces.
• Use user research and data to make informed decisions and improve product impact.
• Develop and scale the design system across features.
• Improve product and design quality through process questioning and moderation.
• Share knowledge, give feedback, and strengthen overall design within the team.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years experience as UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or Interaction Designer.
• Experience in cross-functional product teams (Design, Product, Engineering).
• Understanding of the product development process (Discovery to Delivery).
• Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive UX/UI solutions.
• Strong ownership, impact, and independent working skills.
• Experience with user research and data-driven design decisions.
• Proficiency with Figma or similar tools, and good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frontend basics.
• Experience building and maintaining design systems.
• Very good German skills (C1/C2).
• Experience in SaaS or product startup environments.
