Treasury Technology - Senior Consultant to Director (Several Positions, Level De)

They support multinational corporations, financial institutions, public sector organizations, and NGOs with treasury transformation initiatives.

Location: Germany (Frankfurt) and wider DACH region, with consideration for other EU residents.

Responsibilities

• Driving the growth of Zanders' ION Treasury practice across Germany and the DACH market, focusing on ION Treasury opportunities.
• Building and maintaining relationships with corporate treasury teams, CFOs, and treasury technology decision-makers.
• Introducing Zanders' Treasury Technology capabilities to multinational corporations and financial institutions.
• Leading treasury technology selection, assessment, implementation, upgrade, and optimization projects with a focus on ION Treasury solutions.
• Advising clients on treasury operating models, system architecture, treasury process design, bank connectivity, payments, cash management, liquidity planning, risk management, and reporting.
• Managing end-to-end implementation projects including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration oversight, testing, migration, integration, training, and post-go-live support.
• Supporting treasury transformation initiatives involving TMS, payment infrastructures, SWIFT, EBICS, ISO 20022, and related technologies.
• Designing future-state treasury technology landscapes and implementation roadmaps.
• Collaborating with Zanders' global Treasury Technology teams and Centres of Excellence.
• Researching market developments and emerging trends in Treasury Technology, digital transformation, automation, and AI.
• Representing Zanders at industry events, conferences, and client roundtables, contributing to thought leadership.
• Managing, coaching, and developing consultants within the Treasury Technology practice.

Requirements

• Proven track record in selling and delivering treasury consulting and technology implementation services.
• Strong network within Corporate Treasury, Finance, or Treasury Technology communities in Germany and the DACH region.
• Extensive experience in Treasury Technology consulting, TMS, or Corporate Treasury.
• Success leading complex ION ITS, Reval, and/or Wallstreet Suite implementation projects from strategy through go-live.
• Deep understanding of treasury processes including cash & liquidity management, cash forecasting, payments & bank connectivity, in-house banking, financial risk management, treasury accounting, and reporting.
• Expertise in ION ITS, Reval, Wallstreet Suite, and ideally IT2 or other treasury platforms.
• Experience with treasury technology integrations, SWIFT, EBICS, API, ERP integrations, and ISO 20022.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders and client relationships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to grow the Treasury Technology practice.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing consulting teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Self-reliant, proactive, innovative, collaborative.
• Willingness to travel within Germany, DACH, and internationally.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Legally authorized to work in the DACH region.
