Technical Business Analyst

The Technical Business Analyst within Engineering will collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and manage technical and business requirements for product enhancements, focusing on improving product features and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining the product backlog, ensuring alignment with product strategy.
• Convert business needs into technical and business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into high-quality user stories with personas and acceptance criteria.
• Align user stories and operational implications as the solution evolves, communicating impacts as necessary.
• Decompose initiatives into features and stories prioritized by the Product Manager and presented during planning, utilizing I.N.V.E.S.T.
• Maintain traceability between user stories and feature enhancements.
• Facilitate agile estimation, prioritization, and planning workshops with the Engineering Team Lead, managing dependencies.
• Conduct workshops such as story mapping, release planning, and user story walkthroughs.
• Identify gaps in solution capability.
• Assist with integration testing to ensure product enhancements work as expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
• Experience delivering agile initiatives in high-performing digital teams.
• Knowledge of agile processes and working in small teams.
• Experience with innovative products and product teams.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
