Strategic Accounts Contracts Administrator

The role involves developing, maintaining, and implementing bids, renewals, and proposals for Health System, IDN, and GPO (Strategic Accounts). It supports the Strategic Accounts Department with administrative and contract management tasks.

Responsibilities
- Acts as a primary liaison between Merit’s Strategic Accounts Department and internal and external customers.
- Assist with proposal preparation, contract administration, customer contact activities, contract fulfillment, and compliance.
- Assist with financial impact reports for bids, proposals, and renewals.
- Assist in educating, interpreting, and communicating contract terms and conditions.
- Monitor all contracts for consistency and pricing.
- Oversee ongoing contract analysis, including compliance, customer qualification, and group pricing.
- Oversee group membership designations.
- Design and develop database queries for analysis and reporting.
- Conduct trend analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Compose correspondence on technical matters.
- Record commitments made during meetings and facilitate their implementation.
- Ensure communication and action in manager's absence.
- Perform other related duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma with 7 years of experience, or Associate’s Degree with 5 years, or Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years.
- Experience with professional and/or educational contracts, interpreting and applying contract terms.
- Ability to extract and configure data from multiple sources.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle Discoverer, JD Edwards, or SAP applications.
- Understanding of pricing, discounts, and rebates.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, database, and other software.
- Excellent analytical skills and understanding of financial impacts.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and good time management.
- Results-oriented with ability to work in a matrix environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
