Sr Director, Practice Lead

Sureify is seeking a Practice Lead, Professional Services to lead end-to-end service delivery for a strategic life and annuity insurance carrier partnership. The role involves managing implementation programs, managed services, and technical delivery to ensure client success and measurable business value.
Location: Remote (US)
Salary: $210,000—$245,000 USD
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of Professional Services delivery for the account, including implementation, managed services, and technical services
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives
- Establish clear accountability, governance, and success metrics across all workstreams
- Build and lead a high-performing, client-focused delivery team
- Drive a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement
- Ensure the right structure, talent, and processes are in place to support long-term success
- Implement consistent delivery methodologies, KPIs, and reporting
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and changing priorities in a complex enterprise environment
- Continuously improve delivery efficiency, quality, and scalability
- Serve as the senior delivery leader and trusted partner to client stakeholders
- Engage directly with business and technology executives to guide priorities and outcomes
- Provide candid, constructive perspective to ensure alignment and successful delivery
- Identify opportunities to expand services and deepen the partnership
- Partner with Sales to support renewals, upsell, and new initiatives
- Ensure strong alignment between client needs and Sureify’s platform and roadmap
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales to align on priorities and delivery
- Support solutioning and scoping for new initiatives
- Ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery and into ongoing services
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in professional services, program delivery, or consulting, ideally within life and annuity insurance
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise implementations and ongoing services
- Strong executive presence with the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders
- Experience managing complex, multi-workstream delivery environments
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational rigor and delivery accountability
- Ability to balance client advocacy with thoughtful pushback
- Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to travel to the client every 6-8 weeks
