Solutions Engineer, DoiT Cloud Intelligence - EMEA

DoiT is seeking a Solutions Engineer for their Cloud Intelligence platform to support enterprise clients, MSPs, Private Equity firms, and Systems Integrators in optimizing multi-cloud environments through technical demonstrations, validation, and strategic engagement.

Location: UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Estonia, Sweden

Responsibilities

  • Technical Qualification & Discovery: Collaborating with the Account Executive to understand the prospect’s cloud environment, FinOps maturity, cost management challenges, and operational goals.
  • Technical Validation & POV Leadership: Owning and driving the technical validation and Proof of Values (POVs) for DoiT Cloud Intelligence.
  • Platform Demonstrations: Developing and delivering tailored demonstrations of DoiT Cloud Intelligence.
  • Business Case & ROI Development: Creating business cases and ROI analyses to demonstrate the platform's impact.
  • Partner & Portfolio Motion Support (MSP, PE, SI): Supporting technical engagements with MSPs, PEs, and SIs.
  • DoiT Cloud Intelligence Expertise: Becoming the go-to expert for the platform within the company.
  • Technical Win Ownership: Guiding prospects through evaluation, addressing requirements, and building confidence.
  • Event & Conference Presentations: Representing DoiT at events, webinars, and conferences.
  • Product Feedback and Customer Advocacy: Providing feedback to product teams based on customer and partner input.
  • Accurate, Timely Documentation: Ensuring data entry and documentation for internal systems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience at B2B SaaS software company in a pre-Solution Engineering role.
  • Understanding of ITSM ecosystems and solutions like Cloud Management tools, DataDog, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, New Relic, ServiceNow, AlertLogic.
  • Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud, and datacenter experience with hypervisors like VMWare.
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to interpret large data sets.
  • Good understanding of cloud-centric architectures.
  • Comfort working in a metric-driven environment with KPIs.
  • Ability to explain complex technology simply.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Curiosity, problem-solving skills, and passion for improvement.
  • Experience presenting to executive prospects and customers.
  • Experience with technical selling practices and competitive environments.
  • Proven success in a fast-growing, scaling business.
