Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $135,000 to $165,000

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of software engineers or projects within the Search and Look Up department.
• Review product requirement documents.
• Solve high-level operational or architectural issues to ensure product effectiveness.
• Implement and track development timelines.
• Negotiate feature sets with development leads and product teams.
• Set goals and mentor ongoing projects.
• Provide guidance on software design and implementation.
• Review code changes and submissions.
• Present technical and operational issues to senior management.
• Set deadlines and priorities for team members.
• Coordinate recruiting, training, and onboarding for the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 2 years of software engineering industry experience.
• Experience working with C#, .NET Framework, Python, SQL (MS SQL Server), Perl, JavaScript, Bash/Shell scripting, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch 2, 6, and 9, AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Parameter Store, Aurora & RDS, Step Functions, EventBridge, Kinesis, Firehose), ETL Pipelines, Linux, Windows, SSH (PuTTY, WSL), Kibana, Grafana.
