Site Engagement Associate Director

The Associate Director Site Engagement at GSK is responsible for developing and managing relationships with Oncology sites and institutions to facilitate clinical trials, enhance GSK's reputation, and ensure high-quality, timely results.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $129,750–$216,250/yr

Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic environmental surveillance to anticipate regulatory and operational changes affecting sites and R&D in the United States, and use those insights to design innovative, efficient partnerships.
• Contribute to the development of a strategic partnership network, acting as the main point of contact between GSK and sites.
• Lead the development and expansion of a US site network spanning academic centers, community practices, and emerging site models.
• Provide feedback to Leadership, Local Medical Affairs, LOC regarding the development of new partnerships and updates on existing ones.
• Drive performance by establishing KPIs, organizing performance reviews, tracking compliance, and implementing solutions to optimize enrollment and reduce cycle times.
• Work with sites and Clinical Operations to identify bottlenecks, develop mitigation plans, and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Feasibility, Clinical Operations, and Medical Affairs to optimize site placement and study performance.
• Drive adoption of digital solutions like eConsent, eReg, remote SIVs, and EMR-based identification.
• Conduct environmental surveillance to anticipate legislative and practical changes and design partnerships accordingly.
• Provide operational vision for GSK’s clinical research areas and portfolio, collaborating with Local Medical Affairs to prepare research institutions for clinical trials.
• Contribute to operational excellence, process efficiency, and trial delivery by sharing best practices and improving workflows.
• Develop and enhance site models to include diverse and innovative site portfolios.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in clinical research operations.
