ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer- Service Catalog

They are hiring a ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer with Service Portal/HRSD experience to lead and mentor a team, develop customizations, and support large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Interface with end-users and stakeholders to gather requirements for Service Portal/HRSD.
• Customize ServiceNow applications and support rollout of new features and modules.
• Configure integrations between ServiceNow and other applications via REST/SOAP web services.
• Guide customers through technical solutions for ITSM, Service Portal & B2B integrations.
• Support environment information gathering and impact assessment for service maps and event work.
• Participate in user acceptance testing of maps, impact rules, and event management.
• Promote update sets and data across ServiceNow environments.
• Remediate production incidents related to scope.
• Align with existing ServiceNow technical lead for consistency.
• Maintain operational documentation and SOPs.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience supporting ServiceNow implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development in 2+ capabilities (ITSM/Service Portal/HRSD, B2B Integrations).
• Strong experience in Service Portal / HRSD.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using mid servers and cloud-to-cloud.
• Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST) and automated bi-directional integrations.
• Data Extraction Technologies (e.g., JDBC, ODBC) or ETL integrations.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow ITSM, Service Catalog, and Workflows.
• Experience in scripting including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, Script Includes.
• Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation.

Additional Information

• The candidate must be willing to continue their education within the ServiceNow platform and beyond, including completing ServiceNow competency Certifications and Module Accreditations.
• Preferred Certifications include ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow CSA and CAD.
