The Service & Commissioning Manager at GE Vernova Power Conversion is responsible for providing design support, technical leadership, and resource coordination for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of motors, drives, and control technologies. The role involves budget management, collaboration with sales and engineering teams, and strategic leadership to ensure successful system deployment.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, control, and manage installation and commissioning budgets.
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates for equipment, labor, logistics, and contractor services.
- Support Project Manager to implement financial controls and budget tracking systems.
- Work closely with ITO and Sales teams to develop accurate installation and commissioning estimates.
- Provide technical expertise and cost analysis for customer proposals.
- Coordinate resource allocation and scheduling for engineering teams.
- Support procurement planning and training for deployment.
- Oversee technical documentation, risk management, and design reviews.
- Provide technical leadership and support to engineering teams.
- Lead and manage field service resources, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Mentor team members and foster collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Strong English proficiency; Chinese language skills preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in installation and commissioning roles.
- Experience working with Sales and ITO teams for proposals.
- Knowledge of subcontractor markets and third-party service providers.
- Strong background in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial oversight.
- Experience in resource coordination and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of power systems, conversion, transmission, and distribution.
- Ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent multitasking, analytical, and communication skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with technical problem-solving skills.
