Senior Transmission Line Engineer (Pacific) - Remote

WSP is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join the Power Delivery Team, offering flexible work arrangements including remote options across the Pacific region. The role involves leading high-voltage overhead transmission line projects, providing technical leadership, and supporting project development.

Location: Remote (Pacific region)

Salary: $125,000 - $244,100

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and client interactions.
• Maintain project workflow and communication across multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead project teams and support project managers with reports, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support resource forecasting, recruitment, and department development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in electrical transmission.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• PE license (multi-state preferred).
• Understanding of NESC, RUS, GO-95 standards.
• Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
