Senior Solutions Architect, Security

Rimini Street, Inc, a global provider of enterprise software support and managed services, is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect, Security to support ERP security solutions, primarily for clients using SAP and Oracle EBS. The role involves planning, implementing, and maintaining security solutions, researching threats, and collaborating with global teams.

Location: Remote - Tokyo

Responsibilities

• Support the development and expansion of Security Services associated with ERP implementations (such as SAP and Oracle EBS).
• Plan, implement, and maintain security solutions.
• Research threats, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses impacting products and services.
• Assess relevance of identified weaknesses and exposures, determine mitigations, and document strategies.
• Oversee the implementation and validation of security solutions in line with deployment plans.
• Provide post-implementation support for security products.
• Partner with R&D teams for testing, implementation strategies, and planning.
• Prepare documentation related to software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot security products under guidance.
• Manage onboarding projects using project plans and best practices.
• Self-train for certifications in security trends and technologies.
• Research security vulnerabilities and suggest improvements.
• Design, implement, and evaluate security-focused tools and services.
• Develop logic (rules and signatures) and hardening configurations.
• Stay current on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
• Provide feedback to security solution providers.
• Conduct security assessments for customers and prospects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Security Certification (e.g., CISA, CEH, CISSP, CRISC) or actively working on certification.
• 10+ years relevant experience with IT procedures and security policies.
• 10+ years’ experience with DataCenter Operations (in-house and outsourced).
• 5+ years’ experience in Security product implementation and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of multiple databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.) and applications.
• Working knowledge of SAP technology stacks.
• 5+ years’ experience with Weblogic/WebSphere technologies, including high availability and clusters.
• Deep understanding of various Operating Systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of current security threats, trends, and mitigations.
• Experience in designing and delivering enterprise security controls.
• Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing.
• Supporting business processes understanding.
