Senior Quality Engineer (Belo Horizonte)

Location: Belo Horizonte, Brazil

Salary: $45,000–$65,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Design and grow automated test suite using Cypress, including E2E and integration tests.
• Own the bug process from triage to fix, ensuring smooth workflow and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to review requirements, identify risks, and define quality standards.
• Identify gaps in quality processes and implement improvements.
• Perform exploratory testing on web and mobile platforms to catch issues automation may miss.

Requirements

• Experience using AI tools like Claude Code for writing and maintaining test code.
• Strong automation-first mindset, building test infrastructure that outlasts individual test cases.
• Customer-obsessed approach to testing, ensuring flows work for real users.
• Adaptability to new tools, stacks, and processes, especially with AI integration.
• Collaborative, direct communication style across teams.
• Technical proficiency in reading and writing code, understanding web services, SQL, and debugging.
