Senior Manager, Sportsbook Trading

The Senior Manager Sportsbook Trading at PENN Entertainment is responsible for managing all aspects of sports betting products, including risk management, pricing, and promotions, in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a data-driven, sports-enthusiastic professional with extensive trading experience.

Location: Remote (Canada)

Salary: $120,000—$170,000 CAD

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end trading strategy, margin targets, and KPIs for sports betting.
• Set up and review markets, tournaments, and offers.
• Create, publish, trade, and settle specials using data-driven methods.
• Monitor market liabilities and manage customer risk profiles.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to analyze market trends and customer betting patterns.
• Work with leadership on promotions, product roadmap, and event strategies.
• Drive performance improvements and product quality.
• Develop and execute sports product strategy and roadmap.
• Prepare and share reports on business performance.
• Propose and implement efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Maintain high communication and collaboration standards.
• Become a domain expert on sports and betting models.
• Set and enforce trading philosophies and strategies.
• Evaluate team performance and ensure strategy execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a trading environment.
• Live trading experience is a plus.
• Strong sports betting knowledge and interest.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and make quick decisions.
• Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong initiative and work ethic.
• Comfortable working PST hours.
