Senior Energy Storage Real Estate Manager, Land Acquisition - Remote

This is a remote position for a Senior Renewables Real Estate Manager / Land Acquisitions Development Manager focused on energy storage projects within the renewable energy sector. The role involves strategic real estate initiatives, land acquisition, and development for utility-scale renewable projects across the US.

Location: Remote (Anywhere in the USA)

Responsibilities

• Works with the Project Development Leadership Team and SMEs on real estate management initiatives supporting utility-scale renewable projects across ISOs/RTOs nationwide.
• Develops & implements a streamlined renewables site acquisitions and land due diligence process.
• Provides critical input to the Origination and Project Development Team on site identification and land acquisition strategies.
• Develops and fosters relationships with land owners and community stakeholders for site control negotiations.
• Manages/administrates controlled sites, options, and land leases across the project development portfolio.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years experience in Real Estate, Land Development, or Land Acquisition supporting energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting real estate development initiatives through the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects.
• Solid experience with land title issues, land mineral rights, and project development permitting related to real estate acquisition strategies.
• Strong background in land negotiations and commercial real estate transactions; Law Degree / JD is a plus.
• Expertise in site lease, purchase options, land permitting, purchase agreements, and site control initiatives.
• Experience building long-term relationships with land owners and community stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of utility-scale renewables (solar PV, energy storage, wind) origination and development process is preferred.
• Ability to participate in advanced discussions in the renewables, transmission, and battery storage space.
