Senior DevOps Engineer

Peek is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to improve deployment reliability, reduce operational risk, and modernize AWS infrastructure towards Kubernetes. The role involves supporting a remote team, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring security and compliance.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: MX$950K - MX$1.3M

Responsibilities

• Improve deployment reliability and reduce operational risk.
• Modernize AWS infrastructure towards Kubernetes.
• Support the entire SDLC with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Ensure security and compliance in cloud systems.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years managing AWS services such as EC2, Route53, S3, ECR, IAM, VPC, Security Groups.
• Experience deploying Java applications and managing services like MongoDB, Percona MySQL, HAProxy on EC2.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Ruby, or Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes, including troubleshooting EKS clusters.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (VPCs, DNS, TLS, load balancing, VPN).
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, ArgoCD).
• Ability to code in languages such as Python, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience with data warehousing (BigQuery, Redshift).
• Security-minded with knowledge of SOC2 and PCI compliance.
