Senior Analyst - Actuarial

This role involves scenario creation, validation, and process improvement within the valuation and insurance domain, requiring strong communication skills and actuarial knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collect and validate inputs, assumptions, and data for scenario creation from GAAP, Statutory, and Economic valuation processes.
• Set up and configure Moody’s scenario generation tools with appropriate assumptions.
• Run scenario generation tools for defined scenarios and produce outputs for reporting and analysis.
• Perform detailed checks, validations, and process controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive process documentation including latest changes and methodologies.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in scenario generation and valuation processes.

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication, proof-reading, and grammar skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Stats, Engineering, Computer or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in the life insurance domain.
• Cleared 2-3 Actuarial papers.
• Knowledge of US life insurance and Life products, with Universal life experience preferred.
• Experience with Valuation Models is ideal.
• Knowledge of MS Office and exposure to Actuarial software.
• Ability to progress with minimal supervision and manage project target dates.
