The Road Tanker Wagon (RTW) Driver at SOL Petroleum (Bahamas) Limited is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of fuels from the Clifton Pier Terminal in Nassau, ensuring safety, proper vehicle maintenance, and excellent customer service.

Location: Clifton Pier Terminal, New Providence

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety awareness and practices at all times.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects.
• Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Ensure all equipment and hoses are in good condition.
• Accurately complete Drivers Daily Trip Log.
• Meet all vehicle loading safety requirements.
• Complete Safe Discharge Certificates for each delivery.
• Report any outlets not meeting HSSE requirements.
• Collect and verify cheques and documents at sites.
• Practice defensive driving to achieve zero accidents.
• Attend training and safety meetings.
• Participate in incident investigations.
• Employ customer care techniques.
• Ensure vehicle has sufficient fuel.
• Respond to fire or spill emergencies.
• Participate in safety audits and assessments.
• Report incidents or injuries immediately.
• Participate in drills and exercises, including oil spill exercises.

Requirements

• Secondary education with basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• 3 to 5 years incident-free driving experience with tractor trailer and heavy goods vehicles.
• No drug or alcohol impairments, willing to undergo random testing.
• Proper grooming and presentation to represent company values.
