The position supports pregnancy safety studies within a team focused on generating real-world evidence for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. The role involves scientific development, project management, and client interaction, primarily supporting observational and non-interventional studies.
Location: Massachusetts, USA
Salary: $105,000–$115,000/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop scientific deliverables such as protocols, reports, case report forms, and survey questions for pregnancy safety studies.
- Participate in scientific guidance and consultation on project design and conduct.
- Interact with project sponsors, physician experts, and clinical sites under senior staff guidance.
- Monitor project budget and timelines for scientific tasks.
- Contribute to the development of abstracts and manuscripts.
- Support business development activities including proposal development and presentations.
- Collaborate with other project stakeholders and contribute to training and process improvements.
- Travel may be required (national and international).
Requirements
- PhD in epidemiology or closely related field, or MSc with 1-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with de novo data collection projects, especially non-interventional designs.
- Good understanding of epidemiologic methodology.
- Experience in consultancy and/or CRO environment is desirable.
- Working knowledge of MS Office; data analysis software (e.g., SAS, Stata, R) is a plus.
- Experience with peri- or post-approval late phase interventional projects is a plus.
