This role is for a motivated public health practitioner to support the development and delivery of projects aimed at improving population health, reducing health inequalities, and addressing wider determinants of health in Wales. The candidate will work with stakeholders, oversee networks, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
Location: Cardiff
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and delivery of projects to understand and influence wider determinants of health at an All Wales level
- Undertake the monitoring and contribute to evaluation of action which aims to improve population health and reduce health inequalities
- Monitor the delivery of project plans and actions relevant to sections of the Public Health Wales Long Term Strategy
- Contribute to the development of interventions that are co-produced with key stakeholders including the public
- Lead on the dissemination of knowledge and evidence relating to the wider determinants of health
Requirements
- Experience of implementing public health interventions and programmes
- Highly motivated, analytical, skilled communicator
- Ideally experience of working with a range of public sector stakeholders
