Autopilot is building an AI-native Fintech Operating System to optimize cost and revenue for digital businesses. The company is looking for a Product Designer to own end-to-end product experiences in a complex, data-driven industry.
Salary: $60k–$100k
Responsibilities
- Translate complex financial logic and backend systems into intuitive user flows
- Design dashboards, workflows, and visual systems for payments, orchestration, and automation
- Build and maintain a scalable design system in Figma (aligned with React components)
- Collaborate with engineers on real-world UX states — success, failure, pending, retry
- Prototype and validate features with real data and user context
- Participate in product discussions, shaping user journeys before pixels are drawn
- Uphold usability and domain accuracy as the standard for design quality
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products with complex logic (fintech, B2B SaaS, or data-heavy systems preferred)
- Strong product and systems thinking — you design for states and workflows, not just screens
- Deep Figma expertise (Auto Layout, Variants, Tokens, Components)
- Ability to translate backend logic, APIs, and data models into coherent user experiences
- Excellent communication and documentation skills (Linear, Figma, Slack)
- Comfortable working directly with engineers and iterating quickly without handoffs
