The Process Improvement & Standards Manager will lead a cross-functional team to enhance business performance through metrics, problem solving, and process improvements, with a focus on operational excellence and Lean methodologies.
Location: Remote (US)
Salary: $81,400–$135,000/yr
Responsibilities
- Define, design and implement a performance scorecard framework that cascades goals from leadership to front-line teams.
- Translate strategic objectives into KPIs, targets, and behaviors; ensure ownership and cadences.
- Build dashboards and visual management tools for performance transparency.
- Establish data governance and metric definitions.
- Create and manage a pipeline of analytics and improvement projects aligned with strategic priorities.
- Define processes for analytics intake, prioritization, and project handoff.
- Oversee analytics delivery and translate findings into actionable plans.
- Track ROI and benefits of projects.
- Lead the rollout of Leader Standard Work and daily management practices.
- Facilitate and sponsor Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs), Kaizen events, and problem-solving training.
- Develop and deliver curricula for problem-solving and Lean methodologies.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data analysts and improvement practitioners.
- Coach leaders and team members in root-cause analysis and countermeasure implementation.
- Recruit, develop, and retain talent.
- Partner with leadership to align priorities and manage change.
- Support operational analyses and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in operational excellence/continuous improvement and data analytics.
- 3+ years managing or leading teams.
- Experience creating and operating cascading scorecards, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Strong analytical skills with tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau; Python/R preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or equivalent; experience facilitating Kaizen/RIEs.

Additional Information
- This position is remote with occasional travel up to 10%.
- The salary range is $81,400 to $135,000, based on experience.
- Bonus eligible.
