Privacy Manager

Sezzle is a fintech company revolutionizing shopping beyond payments with interest-free installment plans, aiming to create a unique shopping journey for consumers and merchants. They are building an innovative team passionate about tech and retail transformation.

Location: Remote (US and Canada)

Salary: $125,000 - $190,000 OTE including base and variable

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and scale Sezzle’s data privacy compliance framework, ensuring alignment with US and Canadian regulations.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams during development to conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and embed privacy into workflows.
• Oversee data inventory and mapping initiatives, manage consumer data access, deletion, and opt-out requests.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments for third-party vendors and collaborate with Security team to manage privacy incidents.

Requirements

• 4+ years managing data privacy programs, ideally in high-growth fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS in US and Canada.
• Deep knowledge of North American privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, TCPA, GLBA, PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25).
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast environment.
