Staff Accountant

Career TEAM is seeking a Payroll Admin to support HR and operations with payroll and business functions. The role involves payroll data entry, processing, compliance, and reporting, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Location: Remote (PH)

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, track and complete employee onboarding via ADP Workforce Now for US and PH employees.
  • Review employee information for accuracy, including personal and payroll data.
  • Update payroll information such as marital status, job titles, wages, hires, and separations.
  • Review employee timecards for hours, overtime, sick or vacation time, and pay codes.
  • Input additional earnings like bonuses or commissions.
  • Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Calculate and process payroll adjustments in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Assist with special payments and reconciliations.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries confidentially and accurately.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly headcount and other reports.
  • Edit ADP setup to comply with various labor and leave laws across the US.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of data entry or administrative experience.
  • Experience with payroll and HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Quick learner of new processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, initiative, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Intermediate level).
  • Self-starter, flexible, and proactive.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented.
  • Professional communication skills, handling sensitive data.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
