Responsibilities
- Lead senior Health & Safety engagements nationally across energy, mining, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, utilities, wood preservation, and transportation.
- Advise executives and owners on safety governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and program assurance for complex operations.
- Oversee high-risk H&S initiatives, delivering practical, defensible solutions that improve performance and reduce operational risk.
- Drive revenue growth as a seller-doer, expanding key accounts and securing repeat national work.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams, ensuring consistent technical excellence and client confidence.
- Shape the firm’s Canadian growth strategy to strengthen market presence and long-term value.
Requirements
- 12+ years of senior Health & Safety consulting and/or industrial experience supporting high-risk operations across energy, mining, infrastructure, wood preservation, construction, manufacturing, utilities, or transportation sectors.
- Recognized professional certification or eligibility, including CRSP, CIH, CSP, CHSC, PSAC, or provincial equivalents. Multiple designations may attract additional compensation.
- Demonstrated leadership in building and mentoring teams, delegating effectively, and delivering consistent results.
- Proven seller-doer track record with success in client development, account expansion, and revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian regulatory frameworks, with experience across multiple provinces, and interest in US experience.
- Fluency in English; French fluency is strongly preferred.
