Pharmacy Experience Associate (Texas)

The Pharmacy Experience Associate supports patient access and affordability by working with healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and patients to facilitate prescription fulfillment and address access challenges. They collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and compliant medication access, providing education and process support.

Location: Remote - Texas

Responsibilities

  • Utilize data insights to identify delayed or stalled prescriptions and take appropriate action.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with regional network specialty pharmacies and their staff.
  • Inform pharmacists and staff about patient access and affordability programs.
  • Support HCPs in submitting accurate and timely prescriptions to minimize therapy delays.
  • Serve as a partner within assigned geography and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with sales teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and training needs.
  • Conduct needs assessments and provide education to HCPs.
  • Coordinate with patient support programs to address patient and physician needs.
  • Educate physician office staff on patient assistance programs and web-based provider programs.
  • Participate in POAs and regional calls to provide education and feedback.
  • Provide timely updates on patient access to National Account Directors.
  • Collaborate on patient cases requiring additional support.
  • Ensure activities comply with laws and regulations.
  • Manage travel and expense reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or Licensed / Certified Pharmacy Technician with 5+ years of experience managing prescription fulfillment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefit design (Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, prior authorization processes).
  • Experience working with pharmacies and/or physician practices preferred.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
