Oracle Middleware Database Administrator (US)

CMiC is a software development firm specializing in enterprise financial and cost management systems for the Construction and Engineering industries. They are seeking an Oracle Middleware/DBA Analyst with strong technical, communication, and leadership skills.

Location: Remote (US)

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the deployment, development, enhancement, support and maintenance of databases within the enterprise application.
• Develops/improves database standards ensuring CMiC meets overall SLAs to provide optimum maintenance and consistency across applications.
• Researches technical problems, analyzes business requirements, evaluates alternative design approaches, and designs technical processes to meet business requirements.
• Participates in project and team meetings, interacting and collaborating with team members and other departments.
• Estimates and documents work effort to develop, test, and implement new technical processes/changes.
• Creates technical documentation of implementation activities for management and team members.
• Tests and debugs program units and integrates with other program modules and systems.
• Provides technical support and mentoring to team members.
• Provides guidance, support, and reporting to management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have US Citizenship and US Physical Location presence.
• Travel within the US to client sites a few times per year.
• Good to have: US Security Clearances for Government Work.
• College/University Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Software Engineering, Math/Physics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Oracle DBA, systems analysis, programming, or similar role.
• Experience with web-based client applications and enterprise deployment strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Weblogic Server 11g/12c, Oracle Identity 10g/11g/12c, Oracle Access Manager 12c, Oracle Database 11g/12c/18c/19c, J2EE Programs.
• Knowledge of RAC, DataGuard, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports is welcome.
• Knowledge of design and analysis methodology, application development processes, SDLC, and QA.
• Experience working with clients or in team environments under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
