Manager Global Financial Reporting

Oura is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting to support the preparation of financial statements, ensure compliance with SEC regulations, and improve financial reporting processes as the company grows.
Location: Remote - United States
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and compilation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including footnotes and disclosures.
- Support global regulatory reporting and local statutory requirements.
- Stay updated on SEC regulations, PCAOB standards, and FASB updates, and adjust policies accordingly.
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly close processes to meet public-company timelines.
- Ensure consistent application of U.S. GAAP across subsidiaries.
- Review contracts, M&A activities, and transactions for financial reporting and SEC disclosures.
- Act as liaison for external auditors, managing audit deliverables and resolving issues.
- Strengthen internal controls and monitor ICFR risks.
- Lead documentation efforts for financial reporting processes and identify control gaps.
- Drive automation and standardization in reporting workflows.
- Support scalability for public-company reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license
- 7+ years of financial reporting experience at a publicly traded company
- Proven experience preparing and reviewing Form 10-K and 10-Q filings
- Strong knowledge of SEC rules, regulations, and U.S. GAAP
- Familiarity with financial reporting software (e.g., Workiva, ActiveDisclosure) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
- Self-directed with ability to meet strict SEC timelines
- Collaborative critical thinker with cross-functional working ability
