Legal Specialist (Commercial)

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and negotiating a broad range of core commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, lease agreements, data processing addenda (DPAs), confidentiality agreements (NDAs), and engagement letters.
• Helping establish and agree on contract playbooks with clients.
• Reviewing the work of junior team members and assisting with their professional development and ongoing training.
• Manage workflow and document queue, prioritising to meet turnaround times and service levels.
• Collaborate with global legal team to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
• Work with internal stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency and service excellence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts in-house, at a law firm, or within a legal services provider.
• Experience working with commercial or procurement teams with exposure to supplier-side negotiations.
• Fluent, professional-level English (written and spoken).
• Preference for applying structured playbooks rather than navigating legal ambiguity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Enthusiasm for new technologies, particularly AI and machine learning, with a desire to innovate in the legal industry.
