Insurance Account Specialist

ReSource Pro is seeking an Insurance Account Specialist to process elementary insurance tasks, operate within client systems, and meet quality, quantity, and time deadlines. The role emphasizes customer service, collaboration, and adherence to security policies.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $18.91-$31.92 per hour

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone/email and complete routine insurance tasks in the Agency Management System.
• Support Sr. Specialists and Account Managers by proactively processing service-related issues.
• Independently operate client systems and process routine insurance tasks such as endorsements, certificates of insurance, application follow-ups, quoting.
• Build relationships with clients and insureds to support client retention and revenue growth.
• Look for opportunities to improve processes and provide suggestions to leadership.
• Follow established procedures to meet quality SLAs while maintaining security policies.
• Train new Account Specialists on basic tasks and procedures.
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to meet client needs and contribute to team goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Property and Casualty License highly preferred (must pass exam within 30 days).
• Professional customer service experience required.
• 2-3 years insurance experience preferred (personal lines, commercial lines, life & health, employee benefits, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel).
• Process-focused with strong attention to detail.
• Technological proficiency in learning and navigating various client and internal systems.
