The US F&B Head of Marketing at Chanel is responsible for shaping and elevating the brand's equity in the US across fragrance, skincare, and makeup, aligning global strategies with local market realities. The role involves leading brand management, trade, and retail marketing teams to create emotionally resonant brand experiences and drive growth.
Location: NYC, partially remote with a minimum of three days in-office presence
Salary: $256,100–$400,000 base salary, plus variable pay, bonus potential, benefits, and perks
Responsibilities
- Champion Chanel's brand equity, ensuring initiatives reflect heritage, vision, and standards.
- Translate global brand strategies into locally relevant plans to reinforce leadership in luxury fragrance and beauty.
- Communicate Chanel's vision to retailers and market teams, inspiring alignment.
- Demonstrate mastery of fragrance, skincare, and makeup categories, understanding dynamics and client motivations.
- Guide category teams to build long-term equity and deliver short-term performance, managing budgets and monitoring ROI.
- Interpret marketing intelligence, consumer research, and trend forecasting to inform strategy.
- Lead end-to-end development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Create relevant, always-on client connections across touchpoints to enhance lifetime value.
- Operate in a fluid marketing model with reconfigurable teams around outcomes.
- Understand modern client journeys across online and offline ecosystems, ensuring seamless experiences.
- Support retail in delivering extraordinary in-store and event experiences.
- Leverage insights and data to anticipate client expectations and shape personalized experiences.
- Inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering innovation and operational excellence.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for strategic alignment.
- Develop and execute strategic plans, set and achieve lofty goals, and support transformation and change.
- Bring product sensibility across fragrance, makeup, and skincare, with deep fluency in US market dynamics.

Additional Information
- Partially remote role requiring at least three days in NYC office.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience with 15+ years in marketing.
- Strong analytical skills and team leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or MBA preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically 15-20%.
- Exceptional communication skills; French language skills preferred.
