Global Multi-Country Programme Manager (12 Months Fixed-Term/Remote)

The Multi-country Programme Manager (PM) is responsible for coordinating and scaling Generation's employment training programs across multiple satellite markets in West and East Africa, including Nigeria, Kenya, and Ethiopia. The role involves program design, in-country coordination, cross-border operational problem-solving, and strategic partnership development to ensure consistent delivery and impact.

Location: Remote (West and East Africa)

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of multi-country cohorts, ensuring methodology fidelity and quality standards.
• Develop and manage the multi-country program calendar.
• Coordinate with the Head of Programs to utilize functional resources for cohorts.
• Design and refine the operating model based on lessons learned.
• Manage In-country Coordinators/teams and support TSPs within satellite markets.
• Navigate operational challenges such as cross-border payments, compliance, and data tracking.
• Liaise with global teams for scalable solutions and contingency planning.
• Support partnership and market entry strategy development.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with local stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in programme management, operations, or project coordination, ideally in international development, skilling-to-employment, workforce development, or education sectors.
• Proven track record of managing multi-country or multi-site programmes.
• Strong project management skills with experience using tools like Asana, Trello, Monday.com, and data systems like Salesforce.
• Experience managing remote teams across dispersed geographies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and bias toward action.
