GL Accountant

The role involves managing general ledger closing, financial reporting, and process improvements, suitable for an accountant or finance professional.

Location: Remote (Philippines)

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing and reporting process.
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports. Proactively communicate daily status and escalate issues as needed.
• Solve complex problems and proactively determine and implement improvements to workflows and controls. Reduce inefficiencies, minimize risks and manual workflows.
• Handle audit requests.
• Cross-trained to serve as backup and resource to other ad hoc tasks and participate in projects and initiatives.
