Full Stack Software Engineer - AI Neobank App (Taiwan)

BJAK is a leading Southeast Asian insurance platform founded in 2019, focused on providing smarter financial solutions including spending, saving, investing, and more. They are expanding their team to build next-generation financial products with a diverse, passionate team.

Location: Taiwan

Responsibilities

• Build customer-facing and internal product features end to end.
• Develop web flows, backend APIs, admin tools, dashboards and operational systems.
• Support products across insurance, payments, savings, investing, travel and financial services.
• Work with product, design, mobile and operations teams to launch fast.
• Integrate APIs, handle data flows and improve production reliability.
• Use analytics, feedback and production issues to improve features after launch.
• Help build tools that reduce manual work and improve speed across the business.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full stack software engineering experience.
• Strong frontend and backend fundamentals.
• Experience with modern web frameworks, APIs, databases and production systems.
• Able to build useful products quickly without needing perfect specs.
• Good product sense, UX awareness and attention to detail.
• Comfortable debugging across the stack.
• Experience in fintech, insurtech, marketplace, consumer apps or high-volume platforms is a strong advantage.

Additional Information

• This role is based in Taiwan. It is a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days per week in the Taiwan office.
• English is the main working language. Strong English communication is required.
• The interview process includes an online assessment or practical task, a technical interview, and a final round with the CEO. The process aims to be completed within 1 week for strong candidates.
