Forward Deployed Engineer (Agentic AI)

Rimini Street, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (Agentic AI) to embed with enterprise clients, design, build, and operationalize agentic AI solutions in production across various platforms, including hyperscale AI services and enterprise AI platforms.

Location: Remote Singapore

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, scope agentic AI use cases, and translate business problems into engineering deliverables with measurable success criteria.
• Design target architectures that fit the client's environment, regulatory posture, and platform preferences.
• Write production-grade code within the client's source control, CI/CD, and deployment infrastructure.
• Build and tune retrieval pipelines, prompt architecture, guardrails, agent orchestration, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Implement enterprise-safe agent tool execution, including permission scoping, approval gates, audit trails, and rollback paths.
• Build evaluation suites for hallucinations, regressions, grounding gaps, and quality drift; implement production observability.
• Integrate solutions with client identity, secrets management, network controls, incident response, and compliance tooling.
• Engage through cutover and initial production cycle, then support handover to ongoing support team.
• Act as escalation backup to support team, stepping in for issues exceeding support team’s capacity.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and communicate technical and executive insights.
• Abstract learnings into reusable patterns, accelerators, and reference architectures.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional engineering experience with significant production systems experience.
• 2+ years shipping AI or machine learning systems into production, with recent agentic or LLM-based work.
• Experience working directly with Fortune 500 or Global 2000 enterprise clients in complex environments.
• Experience across full system lifecycle, including architecture ownership and support handover.
• Ability to learn quickly and ship in emerging technical disciplines.

Additional Information

• Remote – Singapore
• Travel typically 25 percent to work with clients, prospects, partners or attend events.
