Cox Automotive is hiring a Fleet Services Coordinator II to support fleet maintenance services, including managing transactions, customer service, scheduling, and communication with field operations. The role involves coordinating repairs and maintenance for fleet vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing dispatching capabilities.

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

Salary: $18.17–$27.31/hour

Responsibilities

  • Managing the follow-up maintenance transactions lifecycle from origination until the customer unit is in control/custody of the repair technician.
  • Providing accurate documentation in all Cox Fleet systems regarding each customer contact.
  • Providing excellent customer service for all internal and external customer calls.
  • Establishing positive customer rapport and obtaining customer approval for repairs and services.
  • Proactively contacting customers to schedule preventative maintenance and encourage advance scheduling.
  • Partnering and communicating with Field Operations to schedule technicians and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Encouraging customers to schedule repairs and maintenance in advance to create a consistent workflow.
  • Developing and improving dispatching and service scheduling capabilities.
  • Handling additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build positive relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills and task management.
  • Strong Excel and data entry skills, ability to learn new platforms such as Cox Fleet IT Systems.
  • Knowledge of the trucking industry or fleet maintenance experience is helpful.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through abilities.
