Finance & Project Operations Intern

The Finance and Project Operations Intern at Ameresco provides financial and operational support for projects, assisting with tracking costs, maintaining financial data, and supporting project closeout activities. This role offers hands-on experience in finance and project operations, suitable for early-career individuals interested in energy solutions and project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial analysis and reporting tasks under the guidance of experienced professionals.
• Perform various coordinating tasks associated with the closeout activities.
• Conduct research and gather data to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with various teams to complete projects and tasks within deadlines.
• Help maintain accurate and organized financial records and documents.
• Take on special projects and assignments as needed.
• Deliver finished results within established deadlines.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• University Student.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Experienced in the use of the Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project).
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks.
• Strong communication skills to provide progress updates and seek guidance when needed.
• Previous finance internship and/or relevant work experience.
