External Contractor - Mentor Role for Data Product Manager Track

Udacity, now part of Accenture, offers immersive online learning in digital technologies and is seeking industry professionals to mentor learners in their Nanodegree programs. Mentors provide technical support, facilitate live sessions, and help students succeed in their learning journey.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for students over an online community forum
Answer questions around course content over the forum and facilitate content for students who get stuck in learning
Host one weekly live virtual session to offer direct, real-time support to students
Redirect learners to appropriate support channels and escalate issues to the Mentor Operations team when needed

Requirements

Fluency in English both written and spoken
At least 7 years of industry experience or a master’s degree in a relevant field
Technical competence in Statistical Foundations, Data Wrangling, Visualization & Storytelling, Product KPIs, Data Pipeline, Data Modeling & Storage, Experiment Design (A/B Testing, Multivariate), statistical inference, product management frameworks (e.g., RICE, Iterative Design), Product Development, Rapid Prototyping, User-Centered Design, Product Strategy, Go-To-Market Strategy, Basic knowledge of SQL
Graduate from a Udacity Nanodegree Program is a plus
Experience teaching technical concepts and public speaking, organizing technical talks or webinars
Positive character, trusted by students, creating emotional ties in the group
Flexibility to work part-time as an external contractor
