Engineer III - Backend - MRC (Remote, IND)

The software engineer will support MRC’s activities by building tools and systems for Falcon, threat researchers, and other teams within Research & Development and Data Science. The role involves coordinating projects, independent execution, and engineering excellence.

Location: Remote (IND)

Responsibilities

• Build the systems required for Falcon researchers, threat researchers, and other teams within the Research & Development and Data Science organizations.
• Build highly scalable solutions based on cloud technology, often by adding new microservices.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions and help team members to succeed.
• Gain technical expertise and improve systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience in a cloud developer role, or similar.
• BS in Computer Science, or a similar field.
• Experience in one or more high-level programming languages (Python, Go, Rust, etc.) is preferred.
• Experience with automating workflows through JSON API use and design.
• Experience with pub-sub and message queues, S3, SQS, Redis etc.
• Experience in working with relational and non-relational/NoSQL databases technologies like MySQL, Cassandra, ElasticSearch etc.
